Singapore collaborates with Airbus Prosky to enhance air traffic efficiency

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has collaborated with Airbus Prosky on a research project studying Air Traffic Management (ATM).

Airbus Prosky is the Air Traffic Management subsidiary of Airbus, which aims to improve the global efficiency and performance of the global air space.

A research collaboration agreement was signed on Wednesday and the study will look at addressing the challenges of air flow traffic. This is especially vital as the Asia Pacific region is the fastest growing market in air travel.

Mr Yap Ong Heng, Director-General of CAAS, said that he hopes the joint project will pave the way for the eventual application of advanced air traffic flow management solutions that will benefit the aviation community.
