The Singapore Airshow 2012 which was held in February raked in close to $255 million in direct spending for the local economy.
The bulk of the money went into tourism receipts, hospitality, event and personal spend, organiser Experia Events said on Friday.
Held once every two years, the air show which took place from Feb 14 to 19, attracted more than 135,000 attendees from Singapore and around the world.
