Sinda to offer scholarships to private schools

The Singapore Indian Development Association (Sinda) has signed deals with three private schools here to offer partial and full scholarships for their diploma and degree programmes for the next three years.

The three schools are the Management Development Institution of Singapore (MDIS), Kaplan Singapore and the PSB Academy,

The memorandum of understandings were signed today at the annual Indian Community Bursary Awards ceremony, co-organised by Sinda.

In all, $932,000 will be given out next year to 1,200 local Indian students from low-income families.
