A senior doctor from the Singapore General Hospital has been reported to the police for allegedly molesting a woman medical sales executive recently.

The hospital told The Straits Times on Wednesday that as the case was pending police investigation, it was unable to comment. The spokesman said the hospital was not aware of the status of the police investigations.

The incident came to light on Wednesday through Facebook posts made by at least two individuals, one of whom said the alleged victim was his friend. He claimed that the doctor had molested the woman.

Both posted links that revealed the doctor's identity, complete with his picture, specialist medical qualifications and appointments.
