Senior Counsel Lok Vi Ming to be new Law Society president

SENIOR Counsel Lok Vi Ming has been elected president of the Law Society for 2013 and will assume the position on Jan 1 next year.

He replaces Senior Counsel Wong Meng Meng, who was elected to head the society on Aug 1, 2010 and is stepping down.

Mr Lok is currently the vice-president of the society and has been serving on the council since 2009.
