There are now even more young entrepreneurs plying their wares along the busy Orchard Road shopping belt with the launch of *SCAPE Underground, a new space catered for them in the basement.
Launched on Saturday, this redeveloped part of the mall is aimed at giving students and youths under 35, a foot into the retail sector.
Besides cheaper rents, at about $1,700 a month, the owners of the
37 stalls also get further help through mentorship and financial advice.
