Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung and Japanese imaging specialist Canon swept the most wins on Tuesday at the Oscars of the tech industry.
Samsung bagged seven accolades while Canon walked away with six at the second annual DL Awards, which honours the best tech gadgets and games launched in the preceding year.
Digital Life (DL), the weekly tech magazine of The Straits Times, gave out a total of 48 awards across 24 categories for laptops, cameras, smartphones, tablets and video games.
Each category had two awards - the Editor's Choice, decided by the DL editorial team, and the Readers' Choice, determined by the more than 300,000 online votes received over two weeks.
