SAF officer training series launched on YouTube
Mindef's second season of Every S'porean Son may also make it to TV
Following the success of a reality series on young national servicemen who go through basic military training, the Defence Ministry has launched an online series on young men who train to become commissioned officers.
A second season of the series Every Singaporean Son: The Making of an Officer has been launched on video-sharing portal YouTube on Mindef's CyberpioneerTV channel.
The 20- to 25-part series follows 13 army officer cadets during the 38-week stint from entering the Officer Cadet School (OCS) to the completion of their course when they are commissioned as officers at a ceremonial parade.
The series captures OCS milestones like the officer cadet initiation ceremony, gruelling field camps and even one cadet going to Germany to train.
