The Bukit Timah Saddle Club will not find it a walk in the park in its bid to stay at 51 Fairways Drive.

The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) announced at a media briefing today that there are at least two other parties interested in the 10.5 ha property off Eng Neo Avenue.

The club's tenancy will expire on Dec 31 this year. It has been paying $18,000 a month for the use of about 5 ha of the property.

The area, with its expansive pastures, has been slated for residential use by the Urban Redevelopment Authority under its 2008 Masterplan.
