Road closure along TPE on Saturday due to construction

A part of the Tampines Expressway (TPE) - between Jalan Kayu and Punggol Way - will be closed due to construction works on Saturday.

This means motorists planning to travel to and from Tampines this weekend should plan ahead and use alternative routes along Jalan Kayu, Sengkang West Way, Sengkang East Road, and the Tampines Expressway (TPE), the Housing & Development Board (HDB) said on Thursday in a statement.

HDB said a section of the expressway will be closed between midnight and 5am, for equipment to be put in place for a bridge widening project.

Blinking lights, barricades and diversion signs will also be put up to guide motorists, said the board.
