'Rapist lied that he was ex-DPM's guard': Doctor
The man who raped or molested 22 women had lied to doctors that he was a policeman whose job was to guard VIPs, a court heard on Wednesday.
Azuar Ahamad, 42, even claimed to one doctor that he was the personal bodyguard for then deputy prime minister Wong Kan Seng.
The former logistics executive also said that he had trouble sleeping due to the nature and long hours of his police work, in an apparent bid to be prescribed sleeping pills.
This evidence emerged on the third day of hearing into Azuar's case. On Monday, he admitted raping, sexually assaulted or molesting 22 women in the space of 14 months.
