Police arrest serial robber suspected of targeting senior citizens

Police on Thursday arrested a 21-year-old Singaporean man for suspected involvement in a spate of robberies and snatch thefts in central Singapore.

The man, over a week in September, allegedly terrorised senior citizens in the Bishan, Kim Keat and Boon Keng area by snatching their handbags and robbing his victims of over $600. Two of his victims suffered fractures on their shoulder and hand.
