PM Lee meets with British PM Cameron in London

LONDON: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met with British Prime Minister David Cameron at 10 Downing Street on Thursday.
The two leaders affirmed excellent bilateral ties and welcomed closer collaboration in bilateral trade and investment as well as cooperation between the two regions, said PM Lee's press secretary Chang Li Lin.
Mr Cameron reiterated strong support for the early ratification of the European Union-Singapore Free Trade Agreement, and also supported closer air links between Singapore and Britain.
He updated Mr Lee on developments in Britain, particularly regarding the upcoming referendum by Scotland on independence, and a referendum on whether Britain should stay in the European Union.
