PRIME Minister Lee Hsien Loong spent his Sunday morning with some of Singapore's youngest, as he launched a nationwide pro-family campaign.

The campaign, called Baby Singapore 2013, is organised by the People's Association. Over the next two months, 29 community centres in Singapore will hold a series of activities and competitions to encourage Singaporeans to spend more time with their families.

The campaign includes baby shows, parenting workshops, and photograph and family scrapbook competitions.

In Mr Lee's Teck Ghee ward in Ang Mo Kio GRC on Sunday, 120 babies took part in the baby show and 94 families submitted photos for a family portrait contest. Mr Lee presented awards to the winners. He also posed for photos with babies and their proud parents.
