Snow Patrol are, without a doubt, the kings of the power ballad.

Their famous tunes, such as Run and Chasing Cars, may sound introspective and melancholic on record, but fleshed out live, they morph into giant, hands-in-the-air singalong anthems.

The ultimate no-frills band, whose members are dressed like average Joes in T-shirts and jeans, have a discography of mostly uncomplicated songs.
