About 11.2 kg worth of 'Ice' with a street value of more than $1.68 million, was seized on Wednesday from two different individuals at two different locations.

The first haul of 5.5kg was from a male Indonesian national on his way out of Changi Airport. The second haul of 5.7kg was from a female Vietnamese national at Tuas Checkpoint.

Both these suspected drug couriers had stashed the drugs in secret compartments of their luggages, according to a statement from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) on Thursday afternoon.

The suspects were both detained by ICA officers, who then handed them over to Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers for further investigations.
