OpenNet expands fibre installation capacity from August

OpenNet has stepped up its efforts to wire up homes and the industry by increasing its installation capacity for fibre broadband, from 2,400 connections every week, to 3,100 connections.
The increase will come into effect from August.
In a statement on Wednesday, OpenNet said that the 30 per cent on its existing capacity comes at the conclusion of the Infocomm Development Authority’s (IDA) review of OpenNet’s interconnection offer.
The new capacity is inclusive of 40 dedicated slots per day for the non-residential segment, its spokesman said.
