Online prostitution ring pimp gets 7 years and 7 strokes of the cane, 16-year driving ban

A 33-year-old pimp who had admitted to a series of vice offences as well as causing grievous hurt to a customer has a high risk of re-offending and is not remorseful, according to his corrective training report.
Malcolm Graham Head has also been found by a prison officer to have the tendency to minimise the culpability of his crime. He also does not have the necessary support that will help prevent him from returning to a life of crime once he is released from prison.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Elizabeth Chua had sought at least eight years' corrective training, caning and a lifetime driving ban to be imposed on Head.
She said that Head had committed 41 offences within six months after his last release from prison, and the years he had spent in prison had had little deterrent effect on him. Head had spent nearly nine years behind bars previously.
