One suspect in Sheng Siong kidnap case found fit to stand trial after psychiatric evaluation

One of the two men who was allegedly involved in the Sheng Siong kidnap case was found fit to stand trial after the completion of his psychiatric evaluation.
Credit card promoter Heng Chen Boon, 50, was informed of this decision in a district court on Friday. He appeared via video link along with the other accused, odd-job worker Lee Sze Yong, 41. They had been remanded in Changi Prison, where their psychiatric evaluation was conducted.
Heng will be represented by Mr Philip Fong who had been hired by family members early this week.
A pre-trial conference will be held in the High Court on March 25 and his case will be mentioned again on April 1.
