National shooter Jasmine Ser did not make the cut for the finals of the 50m rifle three positions event at the London Olympics, finishing 29th out of 46 in the qualification round on Saturday.

Flanked by world record holder Sonja Pfeilschifter and Russian favourite Daria Vdovina on her right and left during the competition, Ser posted a score of 577 on a rainy morning at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich.

The 22-year-old is better known for her achievements in the 10m air rifle event, winning gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Jamie Lynn Gray of the United States and Ivana Maksimovic of Serbia broke the Olympic record with scores of 592 and 590 respectively.
