Two of the world's fastest breaststroke swimmers have confirmed their participation in the Singapore leg of the Fina/Arena World Cup from Nov 11-12.

South African Cameron van der Burgh, who was crowned champion in the men's 100m breaststroke at the London Olympics in a world record time of 58.46 seconds, will be competing at the Singapore Sports School alongside silver medallist Christian Sprenger of Australia, the previous world record holder in the event.

Five-time Olympic medallist Laszlo Cseh of Hungary, who took a bronze medal in the 200m medley at the London Games, will also be competing in the Singapore event.

Other swimmers vying for a share of the overall prize purse of USD$102,000 (S$125,393) include Sweden's Therese Alshammar.
