North-East district companies recognised for good HR practices

Four companies in the North-East district were honoured for their efforts in providing good working conditions and quality jobs.

Khong Holdings Enterprises, Seng Meng Laundry Service, K&N Accounting Services and One Marina Property Services found ways to accommodate the needs of their employees. For example, Khong Holdings made adjustments to the work roster to accommodate the schedule of an employee to allow her to take frequent time off to care for her son with special needs.

NTUC Fairprice Co-Operative Limited, Zingrill Holdings, Oriental Aviation International, Resorts World Sentosa and SMRT were also recognised as businesses who recruited the most number of employees through the North East's Career Centre.

The organisations and companies were recognised at a lunch organised by the North East Community Development Council (CDC), with the support of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
