Non-oil domestic exports for September tumble 3.4%
Singapore's non-oil domestic exports declined by 3.4 per cent in September year-on-year, following a 10.7 per cent decrease in the previous month.
This is due to a contraction in electronic exports which outweighed the rise in non-electronic exports.
Non-oil domestic exports to all of the top 10 markets, with the exception of Taiwan, Japan, China and Indonesia, fell.
The top three contributors to the contraction in September were the EU 27, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
