Ng Teng Fong Hospital promises better experience for patients
Singapore's next general hospital promises new features to make patient's stay even more pleasant and hassle free.
The $1 billion Ng Teng Fong Hospital will open in Jurong in 2014. It will have an emergency department where patients are assessed by a nurse or doctor almost as soon as they register.
Its chief executive officer, Mr Foo Hee Jug, also promises that every patient will have a window view.
The 700-bed hospital and its adjoining 400-bed community hospital will be manned by the team that is now running Aleandra Hospital.
