AN OPTIONS broker, who bashed up two men after attending a black-tie charity event called White Collar Boxing, was jailed for five months today.
A district court heard that Robert Stephen Dahlberg, 35, was with two other Caucasians when the trio abused two taxi drivers and two taxi passengers before hijacking and crashing a taxi at about midnight on April 11, 2010.
Dahlberg, a New Zealander, punched businessman Laurence Wong Seong, 39, on the head. He also held the neck of Mr Wong's friend, Mr Paul Louis Liew Kai Ming, 27, and slammed his head against a pillar.
Mr Liew, a law student working then as a manager, suffered a 4cm-long cut on his forehead and a fractured nasal bone.
