New scholarship to train retail leaders

Buy SPH photosA new scholarship programme targeted at those in the retail sector was announced today.
The scholarship, given out by the Singapore's Retailers Association (SRA) and MasterCard, aims to train leaders for the sector which looks set to grow over the next few years.
There are two different diploma course under the scholarship - one awarded by The Retail Academy of Singapore meant for people who are currently working in the retail industry, and one by Temasek Polytechnic for full-time students.
There are seven scholarships to be given out.
