New private home sales plunge 44% in November, affected by school holidays

HOME buyers snapped up 1,087 new private homes last month, 44 per cent down from the close to 2,000 homes sold in October as the school holiday period dampened sales momentum.

Including executive condominiums (ECs), 1,266 homes were sold. Last month, the figure was 2,624 units.

Top selling projects for November include Eco Sanctuary which moved 140 units at a median price of $1,050 per sq ft (psf), d'Leedon which sold 133 units at $1,431 psf and Bartley Residences where buyers picked up 43 units at $1,230 psf.
