Shoppers can expect several changes when the revamped Shaw Centre and Shaw House open in the first quarter of next year.

There will be several key highlights including a new basement food court to link Shaw Centre and Shaw House, said Shaw Brothers in a statement on Thursday.

A new 1,000 sqm Urban Plaza with water features and skylight seating will also be built over the terrace public concourse formerly located at Shaw House.

The new Shaw Centre will feature two-storey high floor-to-ceiling glass retail frontage with urban verandahs for merchandising.

There will also be a new covered walkway connecting Shaw Centre and adjacent building Pacific Plaza.

While renovations are ongoing, it is business as usual for the Les Amis Group of restaurants at Shaw Centre and Shaw House tenants like Isetan and Shaw Theatres Lido.
