The Singapore Children's Society (SCS) has launched a new award to recognise large donations.
Named after late chairman Dr Koh Eng Kheng, the award will be given to an individual, group or organisation who donates $5 million or raises $10 million over a period of time.
"We want to encourage people to give until it doesn't hurt, so giving becomes second nature," said current chairman Mr Koh Choon Hui.
The SCS is on target to raising $11 million for its services and beneficiaries this year.
