Singapore Tote Board appoints three new board members

The Singapore Totaliser Board (Tote Board), the grant making organisation that channels gaming revenue, has appointed three new board members.

They are: OCBC Bank head of global commercial banking Linus Goh Ti Liang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth Yeoh Chee Yan and Commander of the 9th Singapore Division of the Singapore Armed Forces Brigadier-General Chia Choon Hoong, Their appointment will take effect on Jan 1.

They replace retiring members including former Speaker of Parliament Michael Palmer, Mr Cheah Kim Teck, Mr Gary Ang Aik Hwang and Dr Mary Ann Tsao. Their terms finish at the end of the year.

Three members were also re-appointed for another term. They are: Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social and Family Development Chan Heng Kee, Deputy Chairman of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation Chew Gek Khim and Deputy Secretary (Policy) of the Ministry of Finance Ng Wai Choong.
