Singapore's two most famous footballers - and now coaches - will come face-to-face in the 2012 Malaysia Cup.
V. Sundramoorthy's LionsXII and Fandi Ahmad's Johor FA were drawn in Group A, along with PKNS and Johor FC. The tournament kicks off on Aug 22.
The top two teams from each of the four groups will qualify for the two-legged quarter-finals. The Malaysia Cup features the top 12 MSL teams and four clubs from the second-tier Premier League.
The final for the competition, which first kicked off in 1921, will be held on Oct 20 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
