MSF expands list of home care service providers

Frail elderly and persons with disability will now have more home care service providers to choose from.

The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) announced in a press release on Thursday that it has appointed two private sector providers - ECON Healthcare Group and Lentor Residence Private Limited - to offer such services.

They will add an estimated 400 subsidised places with effect from Dec 17 onwards.

Under such care, trained staff provide a suite of services which includes bathing, feeding, dressing the infirm, and also do housekeeping.
