Most patients satisfied with public health services in Singapore
Nearly eight in 10 patients were satisfied with the services offered by public hospitals, polyclinics and national specialty centres.
But most felt that waiting time could be improved, according to results of the Patient Satisfaction Survey released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.
Another area where patients wanted to see improvements was in the in the coordination of care and transfer of information between healthcare institutions.
Patients surveyed were particularly satisfied with the performance of specialist outpatient clinics. Six out of seven hospitals showed improvements in the level of service rendered at these clinics.
