A total of 262 officers from the Education Ministry and other educational institutions were conferred National Day Awards on Wednesday afternoon at the MOE Investiture Ceremony.
The commendation and efficiency medals are given to recognise outstanding officers including teachers, principals and administrative staff who have displayed competence and dedication in their duties.
The medals were presented by Education Minister Heng Swee Keat, who was the guest-of-honour at the ceremony, held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.
