Metta School receives $150k donation from Marina Bay Sands

Students from the Metta School will soon enjoy new facilities to help train them for jobs in the future.
Marina Bay Sands on Saturday, donated $150,000 to fund the school's new building, which will be equipped with four hospitality training rooms, including a kitchen where students learn baking and food preparation skills.
The donation from the integrated resort will also pay for baking tools and ovens in the kitchen as well as the cost of installing ensuite bathrooms in the hospitality training rooms.
These facilities are used by around 90 students who are studying for their Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Skills Certification.
