Students from the Metta School will soon enjoy new facilities to help train them for jobs in the future.
Marina Bay Sands (MBS) on Saturday donated $150,000 to equip the school's new building, which will have four hospitality training rooms, including a kitchen where students can pick up baking and food preparation skills.
The donation from the integrated resort will pay for baking tools and ovens in the kitchen as well as the cost of installing en suite bathrooms in the hospitality training rooms.
These facilities are used by around 90 students who are studying for their Institute of Technical Education (ITE) skills certification.
