Manjusri Secondary celebrates 30th anniversary

Singapore's first Buddhist secondary school, Manjusri Secondary School, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

The school at Ubi Avenue 1, is the only secondary school sponsored by the Singapore Buddhist Federation.

As part of their celebrations, the school held a homecoming dinner on Friday attended by former and current staff and students.

Speaking at the event, Education Minister Heng Swee Keat, who was the guest of honour for the event, noted that over the past 30 years, the school has provided students with a holistic and all-rounded education.
