Man jailed for threatening to post girl's semi-nude photos
A man was jailed for four weeks on Thursday for threatening to post semi-nude photographs of a teen on Internet if she did not strip down to her panties and pose semi-nude.
Johnson Song Jian Sheng, 24, had pleaded guilty to criminal intimidation on Nov 6, 2011. Then in national service, he threatened to cause injury to the 16-year-old girl's reputation on Facebook, with intent to cause her to comply to his demands.
A district court heard that posing as a female, Song had befriended the girl in June that year. On July 2, he chatted with the victim via webcam. He claimed that his webcam was not working, and hence, he could see her but she could not see him.
He suggested playing a game of "Hangman'', and told her whoever lost would have to remove a piece of clothing. She agreed. After losing a few games, she had stripped down to her panties. He then made her pose semi-nude infront of the webcam and took several screenshots of her.
