M1's mobile services have been fully restored following a disruption earlier in the day, the telco said in a Facebook post at about 12.50pm on Tuesday. Still, some customers said they continue to have trouble connecting to M1's network.

The telco said earlier that some of its customers had been experiencing intermittent services for voice calls and text messaging since 7am. In an e-mail to The Straits Times at 10.30am, it added that mobile data services were not affected. But some users said they could not access these services for several hours.

In its latest update, M1 advised customers who still face difficulties connecting to its mobile network to turn off their mobile devices and turn them back on. Those who continue to face problems can contact M1 at

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) said on its Facebook page at about 11.50am that it was aware of M1's service outage and was monitoring the situation. It had urged M1 to restore services as soon as possible to minimise inconvenience to its customers.
