The scenes keep replaying in Yasir Hanapi's head - hitting the post with his penalty, pulling his shirt over his head, being helped off the pitch by his teammates.

Sure, missing the decisive spot kick in the LionsXII's Malaysia Cup semi-final knockout by ATM FA still haunts the 23-year-old. But he is determined to bounce back from the harrowing experience. "I'm hungry to make up for the loss," the winger told The Straits Times yesterday.

And what better way to do it than on the international stage? Yasir is one of 14 LionsXII players in coach Raddy Avramovic's 23-man squad who will be eager for some form of redemption when they face India in a friendly at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium tomorrow evening.

"Coming so close and not making it - that will spur us on," attacking midfielder Shahdan Sulaiman said.
