The LionsXII moved a step closer to the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Johor FA at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday night.
Striker Khairul Amri scored the only goal of the game after just two minutes, latching on to Baihakki Khaizan's free-kick and beating goalkeeper Zulfadhli Mohamed with a cool finish.
With the win, V. Sundramoorthy's side have eight points from four matches in Group A.
They next face PKNS FC in Petaling Jaya on Tuesday.
