THE National Library Board (NLB) is asking members of the public to give their feedback on what they hope to see at the new library@orchard, slated to open in the first quarter of 2014.

Four prototypes will be displayed at the Central Public Library in the National Library from now till Jan 31 next year. The public is encouraged to give their feedback on the four prototypes which are named Trend Gallery, Memory Bank, The Cocoon, and The Book Tree.

The library@orchard will be located at Orchard Gateway, a new shopping mall set to open in the second half of 2013.

It will span some 1,700 square metres over two floors. This is slightly bigger than the old library@orchard, which was located on the fifth level of Ngee Ann City, before it closed in 2007.
