Learn how to approach issues like responsibility and resilience using news stories such as the recent corruption cases or Not-In-My-Backyard syndrome with your children.

Keynote speakers at The Straits Times Teachers Forum (Friday, Nov 9) and The Sunday Times Parents Forum (Saturday, Nov 10) will also address employing positive psychology with children and giving them tactical skills to deal with issues like cyber-bullying.

The forums will also launch a highly recommended book, 48 Values From The News: The Straits Times Guide To Building Character. The book, which will retail at $15, will be given to all participants, who will also receive goodies such as a voucher and an umbrella.
