Six shipyard workers, who were hurt when an oil rig at Jurong Shipyard lurched to one side on Monday, remain in hospital but are not in "serious condition".

They will also be discharged soon, said Manpower Minister Tan Chuan-Jin in a post on Facebook, put up after a visit to the shipyard on Tuesday.

Some 89 workers, out of more than 1,000 working on the rig, were injured and sent to hospitals on Monday after the accident.

Apart of the six, the rest were discharged.
