HDB, URA release 5 residential sites estimated to yield 2,880 units

The Housing Development Board (HDB) and Urban Redevlopment Authority (URA) will be releasing two Executive Condominium (EC) sites and three residential sites for sale in October.
In a joint statement released on Monday, the HDB and URA said this is to provide developers and home-buyers more choices. Up to 2,880 units are expected to be built.
The residential site at Bishan and the EC site at Punggol will be up for tender under the confirm list on Oct 15 of the Government Land Sales programme. The two other residential sites at Tampines will be released via the reserve list system.
The second EC site will be at Sembawang and will be launched for tender via confirmed list on Oct 30.
