Graduation plans off for victim in viral accident video

TRAINEE teacher Hazel Ng, whose scooter was sideswiped by a lorry and caught on a video that went viral, will no longer be able to graduate in May because of her injuries.

The accident left a 4cm-long, 2.5cm-deep gash on her right elbow. She also fractured her right shoulder and had abrasions on her face and legs.

Ms Ng has had two operations and is awaiting a third. She was thrown off her scooter after it was sideswiped by a lorry. Her recuperation means she will not be able to complete courses in time to graduate in May. -- ST PHOTO: NEO XIAOBIN
