German boy, 2, dies after lorry hit him

A two-year-old boy died last Friday after a lorry hit him when he was crossing the road on his skate scooter.

The accident happened at the junction of Cavenagh Road and Bukit Timah Road at about 9.30am.

The German boy was on his way to his nursery nearby. He was accompanied by his family's Indonesian maid, who is in her 20s.

They were crossing Cavenagh Road when a lorry that was turning right hit them.
