Further remand for suspects in kidnap of mother of Sheng Siong supermarket chief

The two suspects in the Sheng Siong kidnap case have been remanded for further investigation.
The prosecution told the court this morning that investigation was incomplete and applied for Lee Sze Yong, 41, and Heng Chen Boon, 50, to be remanded for another week.
Lee, an odd-job worker, is accused of abducting Madam Ng Lye Poh, 79, the mother of Sheng Siong supermarket boss Lim Hock Chee.
He allegedly did so between 10.30am and 1.02pm last Wednesday along Hougang Avenue 2, with the intent to hold her for ransom.
