Frenchman extradited for offences allegedly committed in 2010

A French national who was extradited from Germany for two 2010 offences of allegedly cheating Resorts World Sentosa casino appeared in court on Tuesday.

Reynald Georges Victor Lasnel, 63, was wanted by the Singapore Police in connection with cheating offences of past posting - the act of placing the bet after the result is known - at the roulette table.

He had allegedly committed the offences with two other French nationals at RWS casino in April that year.

Lasnel, Fabrice Thierry Laurent Michel, 48, and Lopez Pintado Jose, 65, fled Singapore while out on court bail despite having their passports impounded.
