4 busted for operating illegal gambling den at Geylang shophouse

Police on Thursday, arrested four men during a sting operation at an illegal gambling den operating out of a shophouse.

Officers from Bedok Police Division raided the shophouse in a five-hour operation which started at about 2pm on Thursday.

The four suspects were age between 22 and 64, said the police in a statement.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a 64-year-old suspect had rented the shophouse along Geylang Road to use as a den.
